Hyperplasia Series, Levels One and Two (Combined) Course Description:

During this advanced lab course, practitioners will learn how to assess and treat hyperplasia which is a contributor to many of today's common diseases and disorders. In this course, practitioners will learn how to treat general hyperplasia as well as system-specific hyperplasia. Additionally, there will be instruction on the treatment of the psychosocial aspects of these disorders, including 'IDAP' (IMT for psychotherapeutics) integration. Learning on treatment of subcortical involvement, specific to the red nucleus as well as other tissues, will be included. Immune correlations will be discussed as well as Exudate Hyperplasia, Transudate Hyperplasia, and many other IMT tools for assessment and treatment of hyperplasia.

Pre-requisites:

Requires Twenty CSIMT classes including MPR1 and MPR2; and Basic Recovery Motilities. Basic Recovery Motilities include DOM (Disruption of Membrane technique), IDM (Immune Deficiency Motility), BB (Bone Bruise technique).
DOM and IDM are taught in all the Visceral
Mobilization courses as well as all the Compression Syndrome courses. BB is taught in the Compression Syndromes of the Upper and Lower
Extremities course as well as in the Cranial Therapy Series and in the
Advanced Clinical Biomechanics of Sacrum course. There are other courses as well that cover basic Recovery Motilities.
